Information on the use of cookies in accordance with the Italian Data Protection Authority's Decision of 8 May 2014 and the Cookie Guidelines of 10 June 2021.

This Cookie Policy describes the use of cookies and other tracking tools within the website https://webmaster360.it/ (hereinafter, the “Website”).

This notice is provided by TAGMOOD S.R.L., as data controller, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter, the “GDPR”), the applicable Italian legislation on personal data protection and electronic communications, as well as the measures and guidelines adopted by the competent authorities.

This Cookie Policy applies exclusively to the webmaster360.it domain. It does not apply to other domains, subdomains, operational panels, publisher websites managed through the Webmaster360 platform or third-party services that may be accessible through links on the Website.

This notice supplements the Personal Data Processing Notice, to which reference is made for information concerning the data controller, general purposes, recipients, international transfers, retention periods and data subject rights.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of this notice:

  • cookie means a small text file that a website may transmit and store on the user’s device via the browser;
  • first-party cookies means cookies installed by the domain visited by the user;
  • third-party cookies means cookies installed or otherwise managed by parties other than the operator of the visited website;
  • tracking tools means cookies and similar technologies, such as local storage, online identifiers, pixels, tags, scripts, SDKs and other mechanisms capable of collecting or storing information on the user’s device or activity;
  • CMP means a consent management platform, used to present the notice, obtain and document the user’s choices and communicate them to the relevant services.

References to cookies in this notice shall be deemed to extend, where relevant, to other tracking tools as well.

3. Categories of Tools Used

The Website uses exclusively:

  1. technical tools strictly necessary for the operation of the consent management mechanism;
  2. statistical measurement tools via Google Analytics 4;
  3. Google Consent Mode in advanced mode;
  4. Cloudflare infrastructure services, without activation of additional functionalities such as authentication, challenge, Turnstile, Bot Management, load balancing or other services requiring specific user-side cookies.

The Website does not use:

  • advertising cookies;
  • commercial profiling cookies;
  • remarketing tools;
  • Google Ads;
  • Google Signals;
  • Meta Pixel;
  • authentication systems;
  • first-party session cookies;
  • language-saving cookies;
  • first-party local storage for graphical or functional preferences;
  • external resources such as Google Fonts, maps, embedded videos, social widgets or third-party iframes.

The Website’s language is determined solely by the URL structure and is not stored through cookies or local storage.

The Website uses the AppConsent® consent management platform, provided by SFBX, to:

  • display the notice on cookies and tracking tools;
  • allow the user to express, refuse or modify their preferences;
  • assign a technical identifier to the choice;
  • record and retain proof of consent or refusal;
  • store the date, time, notice version and preference status;
  • communicate the user’s choices to the configured services;
  • manage the consent signal in accordance with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework in the most recent version supported by the CMP;
  • integrate Google Consent Mode.

Storage of the choice is strictly necessary to prevent the banner from being re-presented on each page visited, to respect the user’s refusal and to document the preferences expressed.

AppConsent® uses an identifier stored via local storage and may use the technical cookie appconsent as a fallback identifier in case the key stored in local storage is no longer available.

These tools are not used by TAGMOOD for advertising purposes or to profile the user’s commercial preferences.

5. Google Analytics 4

Subject to the user’s consent, the Website uses Google Analytics 4, a statistical measurement service provided by Google, in order to:

  • detect the number of users and sessions;
  • understand which pages are viewed;
  • measure interactions with content;
  • understand, in aggregate form, traffic sources;
  • analyze approximate information relating to device, browser and geographic area;
  • assess and improve the Website’s structure, performance, content and usability.

Google Analytics 4 is installed directly in the Website’s code and not through Google Tag Manager.

Advertising features, Google Signals, remarketing, collection for personalized ads, Google Ads integration and the User-ID function are disabled.

The data retention period configured in the Google Analytics property is 14 months, without prejudice to the processing of aggregated data or different technical durations applied by Google in accordance with its own documentation.

When the user consents to analytics measurement, Google Analytics may use first-party cookies to distinguish users and sessions.

The Website uses Google Consent Mode in advanced mode.

Before the user makes a choice, the consent states are set as denied. In this condition, Google Analytics does not read or write analytics cookies on the user’s device.

Advanced mode may nevertheless involve, even in the absence of consent, the sending to Google of cookieless signals and measurements, including technical and aggregate information such as:

  • consent state;
  • timestamp;
  • user agent;
  • URL and referrer;
  • technical information generated during page loading;
  • random number generated for the single page load;
  • additional technical parameters provided for by the Google Consent Mode protocol.

In the absence of consent, such signals do not use the _ga cookie or other analytics identifiers stored on the device.

When the user consents to the analytics category, the relevant state is updated and Google Analytics may write and read measurement cookies, sending the data provided for by the ordinary configuration of the service.

Advertising categories remain disabled and are not used for ad personalization, remarketing or commercial profiling.

In the name _ga_<ID>, the final part varies depending on the technical identifier associated with the Google Analytics property used by the Website.

Actual durations may be shorter than those indicated as a result of:

  • browser settings;
  • manual deletion of browsing data;
  • withdrawal of consent;
  • limitations imposed by operating systems or browsers;
  • changes made by providers;
  • the technical configuration applied to the Website.

The updated list of providers and any configured purposes may also be consulted in the preference management panel made available by the CMP.

8. Cloudflare Technical Tools

The Website is distributed through a Cloudflare Worker connected to Cloudflare Pages.

Cloudflare is used for:

  • traffic resolution and management;
  • publication and distribution of static pages;
  • infrastructure security and reliability;
  • performance optimization;
  • routing of requests to the Website.

The following additional functionalities are not activated in connection with the Website:

  • Cloudflare Turnstile;
  • Bot Management;
  • Managed Challenge;
  • authentication systems;
  • load balancing;
  • application functionalities requiring dedicated technical cookies.

The mere delivery of the Website via Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare Pages is not configured by TAGMOOD to install first-party browsing cookies on the user’s device.

Cloudflare may nevertheless process technical network data, such as IP address, HTTP headers, user agent, requested URL, date and time of the request and security information, as described in the Personal Data Processing Notice.

9. Absence of Language Cookies

The Website does not install cookies and does not use local storage to remember the selected language.

The language version displayed depends exclusively on the requested URL. Switching from one language to another results in navigation to a different path of the Website without storing preferences on the device.

Tools strictly necessary for consent management and documentation are used on the basis of the technical need to:

  • make the choice mechanism available;
  • remember the refusal or consent expressed;
  • respect the user’s preferences;
  • demonstrate that the choice was obtained;
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

Prior consent is not required for such tools, without prejudice to the obligation to provide adequate information.

Google Analytics cookies and identifiers, on the other hand, are used exclusively with the user’s prior consent, pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR and the applicable rules on access to and storage of information on terminal equipment.

Cookieless signals sent under the advanced Google Consent Mode configuration operate with storage states set as denied and do not involve the reading or writing of analytics cookies in the absence of consent.

11. How to Express and Manage Preferences

Upon first accessing the Website, users may use the banner provided by AppConsent® to:

  • accept optional tools;
  • refuse them;
  • view detailed information;
  • express differentiated preferences by category or purpose, where available.

Failure to give consent, refusal or closing of the banner in accordance with the CMP’s procedures do not prevent access to the Website’s content and essential functionalities.

In the absence of consent:

  • Google Analytics cookies are not written or read;
  • advertising functions remain disabled;
  • the Website remains usable;
  • only the cookieless signals provided for by Google Consent Mode advanced mode may be transmitted;
  • the technical tools essential for preference management remain active.

Users may modify or withdraw their expressed preferences at any time through the cookie management command available in the Website footer.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

Following withdrawal:

  • Google Analytics may no longer use analytics cookies for subsequent visits;
  • consent states will be updated;
  • cookies already present may remain stored until their expiry or deletion, without being used for new unauthorized activities, unless otherwise handled technically by the browser or CMP.

Users may also manually delete cookies and other website data through browser settings.

13. Managing Cookies Through the Browser

Major browsers allow users to:

  • view stored cookies;
  • delete individual cookies or all browsing data;
  • block cookies from a specific website;
  • block third-party cookies;
  • prevent the storage of all cookies;
  • automatically delete data upon closing the browser.

Generalized disabling of cookies may affect the functioning of some websites. In the case of webmaster360.it, blocking optional tools does not prevent page browsing, while blocking tools necessary for the CMP may cause the banner to reappear or prevent proper storage of preferences.

Specific instructions depend on the browser and device used and are available in the respective help sections.

14. Transfers to Third Countries

The use of Google, Cloudflare and SFBX may involve the processing of or access to data by parties located outside the European Economic Area or belonging to international groups.

Such transfers are carried out, as applicable, on the basis of:

  • European Commission adequacy decisions;
  • adherence to frameworks recognized by adequacy decisions;
  • standard contractual clauses;
  • supplementary measures;
  • further instruments provided for by Chapter V of the GDPR.

15. Data Collected by Providers

Providers may process, within the limits of their respective functions and configurations:

  • IP address;
  • user agent;
  • browser and device information;
  • visited URL and referring page;
  • date and time of the request;
  • consent state;
  • technical identifiers;
  • browsing and session events, only where permitted;
  • information necessary for security, service delivery and preference documentation.

TAGMOOD configures the services in a manner consistent with the stated purposes and, where applicable, limits the activation of optional tools until prior consent has been obtained.

16. User Responsibility

If multiple persons use the same device or browser, the stored preferences may be applied indiscriminately to subsequent visits made through that same technical environment.

Users of shared devices are advised to periodically check their preferences and, where necessary, to delete browsing data at the end of the session.

Browsing in private mode, deleting browser data or using different devices and browsers may require preferences to be re-expressed.

Names, characteristics and durations of third-party tools may be modified by the relevant providers without direct intervention by TAGMOOD.

The Controller periodically checks the Website’s configuration and updates this notice when:

  • new tools are introduced;
  • purposes of use change;
  • providers are modified;
  • regulatory changes occur;
  • tool characteristics or durations change materially.

The CMP panel is the point of operational consultation for the categories, purposes and providers configured at the time the user visits the Website.

19. Data Subject Rights

Data subjects may exercise the rights provided for by Articles 15 et seq. of the GDPR, including, where applicable, the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent.

  • changes in technical configuration;
  • introduction or removal of providers;
  • updates to the services used;
  • legislative or regulatory changes;
  • measures and guidelines from competent authorities;
  • organizational or security requirements.

The updated version is published on the Website with the date of last update.

Where the changes materially affect the purposes or tools subject to consent, the Controller may again request the user to express their preferences.
